WE GRADUATED!!

After six years of going to school and after a bizillion homework assignments, late nights, presentations, tests, projects, and studying when I'd rather be doing anything else..... I'm finally done! Caleb and I graduated the same week, which was really fun!  I graduated from the U with a degree in Economics.
Caleb graduated as an Aviation Technician from SLCC's Aviation Campus.

I'm so proud of him!  He has spent so much time on work and school since we've been married and he still got the best grades, he was even on the Dean's List and was featured to represent the aviation department during graduation.
Everyone asks what were going to do with all our new spare time!?! Were just enjoying having more time together right now but I have high hopes to become this person that cooks dinner every night, has a spotless home, exercises consistently, and starts and finishes cute projects for the home..... but we'll see how that goes :) Caleb is having fun working on his new helicopter and getting it in the air. He'll also be busy finishing all of his FAA tests and then he'll start the hunt for "The Job"

Once in a lifetime.....

Caleb and I jumped out of a plane today and plummeted 13,000 feet to the ground and LIVED!
It was so much fun and I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
We went with some friends of mine from work.. Erica, Trevor and Jace.  We've been trying to go for the last 3 weeks but because of the crappy weather we haven't been able to until today.
I'd be lying if I said I wasn't freaked out about going.  Erica and I were having panic attacks on the drive there and with Trevor watching skydiving accidents on youtube wasn't helping.  When we got there we watched a 20 min instructional video with some creepy, long bearded man that Caleb said looked like someone from ZZ Top.  Then we literally signed our life away before suiting up and meeting our instructors.   All the instructors seemed great and all I wanted was to be paired with someone who was experienced, fun, and wasn't awkwardly shorter than me.  My instructor Tom was the shortest guy in the group, the most serious, and seemed to have the least experience but I still liked him and we had a blast.  The plane ride up was probably the scariest part.  I couldn't believe how high we were.  I'm so glad Caleb and I were able to experience that together.  Tom and I were the first to jump out of the group.  It happened all so fast there wasn't any time to rethink was I was doing.  After the jump right out of the plane we did a quick back flip and then we were freefalling.  It was the most amazing feeling! It was a little cold and hard to breathe at first.  I was so relieved when he pulled the parachute and it actually worked!! Sadly we didn't pay to have a video or pictures taken, all we took were the before pics.

How can you take this guy seriously??

FINALLY....We started a blog!
I've been reading blogs for a long time now and love them.  So it's time to start one myself.  Just a little update...Caleb and I have been married for a year and a half now and we're just counting down the days until we graduate in May.  We live in a little two bedroom aparment in Holladay and just love being married.  Caleb is working at 1-800-Contacts in the evenings while he's going to school and will be graduating as an aviation technician.  I'm still at Zions Bank and will graduate in economics.  I can't wait to be able to have a life again and kiss school goodbye! xoxo
